How much does a website cost with BuiltWeb?
A basic service site is a one-off £300 and an e-commerce site is a one-off £750. Optional add-ons (extra pages, branding, booking, a gallery and more) start from £60. The price you see is the price you pay — confirmed in writing before we start.
Is it really a one-off price, or are there monthly fees?
It is a genuine one-off price with nothing to pay each month. Unlike other web designers who charge a monthly hosting fee for as long as your site is live, hosting with us is free, forever. You own the site and can host it elsewhere if you ever prefer.
What is included in the base price?
Every build includes a custom, mobile-optimised design, a contact or enquiry form, SEO foundations (titles, metadata and a sitemap), and Google Analytics and Search Console set up. The e-commerce package adds a full shop with cart, checkout and payment gateway setup.
How do payments work?
You pay 50% as a deposit to start the project and the remaining 50% on launch. We invoice you directly — there is no automatic or recurring billing.
How long does it take to build?
A basic service site typically launches in 2–3 weeks and an e-commerce site in 3–4 weeks, depending on how quickly you can provide content and feedback.
Do I own the website?
Yes. On full payment you own the website outright and we hand over the source files. There is no lock-in.
